2.4.4 Changelogs
  • 1.21.4 compatibility; Support for the new Resin material, Creaking mob, new blocks, etc.
    • Resource pack has been updated. It now also includes a blank template for elytra textures (Needed to), so if you have another mod or resource pack to give elytras textures, place it above the one for Trims Overhaul
  • Added another safety system which automatically takes the trim off armor worn at 10 or less durability
    • For the sake of inventory management, it'll only return important materials such as Nether Stars, Dragon Eggs, and Netherite Ingots.
  • Updated a few advancements again, mainly guides and the dragon egg.
    • Added a safety guide to actually reveal the existence of systems to protect trims
  • Updated the settings guide book
  • Renamed "Self-Trim" to "Un-Trim"

  • Updated the transfer system
    • Players who become the owner of a trim via transfer or death will now receive a short message
      • Transfers won't create the empower message anymore
    • The template method now supports any inventory slot, instead of only the first slot
    • Slightly adjusted and added more information to the book
    • Added a small sound to selecting players with the book
    • Fixed the book's unimportant data displaying in later versions

  • Increased the RTD bonus for Coast (Fishing)
    • Fishing in a beach biome now counts towards the task
  • Reduced the time needed to complete Spire's (Levitation) task
  • Slightly reduced the frequency of Dune's RTD. Also reduced the time needed to complete the task (Desert-time)

  • Few new sounds to some abilities/actions
  • Silence now also muffles block noises
  • Adjusted/lowered the level requirements for Raiser's tier 0-2 effects and beam, making it easier to atleast benefit from the trim
  • Coast's summoned sand that falls into water will splash, clearing aquatic effects from nearby players
  • Rib's fire blast now charges slightly faster when in the nether
    • Rib's non-fire penalties will only apply if the user is/was recently in combat
  • Copper blocks thrown by the Bolt owner will now be placed down as temporary blocks
    • Added a delay to Bolt's fire resistance so it flickers less, increased the duration, but it'll no longer refresh when in lava
  • Shaper's strength on peaceful difficulty is now equal to easy difficulty
    • Also fixes some of Shaper's effects not working or updating on peaceful

  • Updated Ward
    • Effects are now given based on the distance to the user, instead of only if they're within the radius
    • The regeneration effect now only applies to players right next to the user if they're sneaking
    • Added a feint indicator of the maximum range that players will be buffed.
    • Adjusted the strength and duration of most effects granted by Ward to the user and nearby players
    • The user will now gain a short buff if a nearby player dies to different player

  • Updated Flow
    • Slightly reduced how high the player needs to look to receive minimal gravity
    • Slightly reduced the maximum range of Wind Barrier, but removed its minimum range.
      • This also affects how soon a wind charge will become empowered if the thrower is in the air
    • Adjusted the aerial particles to no longer display when using an elytra
    • Added a delay to the permanent effects so they flicker less, and removed speed
    • Added a cooldown to picking up the wind charges shot directly by the breeze mob
    • Barrage can now be started with 60 or more wind charges, instead of only 64
    • Barrage's height restriction is now slightly shorter but generally more strict
    • The height requirement for empowering thrown wind charges is now much shorter, but also more strict
    • Fixed Barrage activating when below blocks, which usually resulted in it also cancelling due to being near the ground
    • Fixed Wind Barrier transforming any projectiles thrown by the user if they're in the air or below blocks
    • Fixed gravity not returning if you're looking straight when Barrage ends (Until you look up or sneak)

  • Fixed some trims being invisible with Iris installed
    • Armor with the error texture will look worse though
  • Fixed Eye's alarm notifying its owner about other strongholds
  • Fixed Silence's heart beat not working for extended periods on some worlds, and being muffled
  • Fixed players not getting the ownership advancement when gaining a trim through kills
  • Fixed template recipes existing in later versions (Which only resulted in a waste of materials)
  • Fixed some abilities displaying Spire progress if Wayfinder has been used and Spire is unlocked on later versions
  • Fixed some bugs for 1.20.5 such as advancement visibility, transfer book, and coast sand
