Saint's Dragons (0.2.0 alpha preview)

Adds rideable and usable companion dragons. Models, textures, and animations by me, and code generated with AI and curated in-game. This first started with the mod being dedicated only to the Lightning Dragon, hence why it is so completed. Took one look and Ice & Fire: Dragons' Lightning Dragon and goes, "Hm, that's a cool freaking dragon! But I want my own Lightning Dragon that's even cooler!" Now, I don't know if this is cooler or not, probably not at all, but yeah, there it is. It was first called "Lightning Dragon Mod" but now it's "Saint's Dragons" because I wanted to add more, so here we are. Started as a simple past-time hobby and now I wanted to show you guys what I am working on. Codes written by AI, specifically Claude Sonnet 4, while debbuging and rigorous testing done by me.  Call it AI-slop or whatever you like, it's fine, I get it. But I'll try my best to learn coding by myself. Just give it a try, hate it or love it, it's up to you, and I'm truly sorry if I break your game or not up to your expectations.

Status & Roadmap

Long way to go. Expect babies next update. 300 downloads, I make fire dragon, or porting this to Fabric. 😐  Fire dragon next, I guess.

Installation

REQUIRES GECKOLIB 4.8.1+ on both mod loaders and Fabric API for Fabric

• Install Minecraft Forge/Fabric 1.20.1
• Add GeckoLib 4.8.1+ and add it in your mods folder (do the same for Fabric API)
• Drop the saintsdragons-1.20.1-0.2.0-ALPHA into your mods directory
• Cloth Config is Optional for tuning spawn rates of dragons on Fabric

Getting Started

• Tame every dragon with salmon or cod. I advise you to bring a LOT of salmon and cod for the Raevyx.
• Craft or creative-grab the binders to tame and carry dragons. (Especially for the Stegonaut.)
• Don't use Fire Body while diving down on a Cindervane near your house. (Please.)
• Use the Dragon Ally Book to whitelist friends.

Known Issues

• Still no saddle/armor models/textures
• No tools like swords or anything yet
• Still lurking bugs, but it should be stable now
• Have you hydrated?
