What does this pack do?

Butterium is a client-like modpack that makes your game as smooth as possible by (in some cases) QUADRUPLING your FPS allowing for smooth gameplay on even the lowest of hardware. In some cases this pack even performs better than both Lunar and Feather.

Butterium also integrates each mod into it's very own custom-made ButterUI so you shouldn't ever see an ugly config file or bloated menu with thousands of options ever again.

To put it simply, we achieve perfection with performance, quality of life and gameplay all in one pack with less than 36 mods.

What is ButterUI?

ButterUI js an OreUI-inspired design language featuring user friendly, abstract looking menus and insane customisation - you can simply change the accent color and background from a nice personalisation settings menu or enter FancyMenu (please read the documentation) to customise every element of every screen though that is super advanced and not recommended.

We provide ButterUI support for a bunch of mods- all included mods are supported and a range of popular mods you can add yourself are supported. A list will be released soon on GitHub.

ButterUI is made with our own resource packs and FancyMenu. I (caelaThinx) work with FancyMenu a lot and have been for approximately 2 years now. I am a helper and member of the community (as annoying as I may be). I also commonly push FancyMenu's limits and have to request tens of features, most of which Keksuccino kindly adds and I make ButterUI and Butterium to be more integrated with them.

Why is this modpack to be compared to a client?

As you can see, we refer to Butterium as a Client-like modpack. Lets explain why.

  1. Many of our users have switched from using popular clients to using Butterium

  2. The devs make this pack feel as custom made for you as possible (e.g draggable windows, onboarding)

  3. We're working to make this pack integrate each mod to perfection, from custom menus, keybinds and commands, to completely custom mods themselves (coming soon).

  4. We plan to expand to a custom launcher in the future

Credits

Most UI's were created using the amazing tool that is FancyMenu by Keksuccino, this is amazing for modpack creators as it allows custom designs within Minecraft.

Some configs and .jar files were taken/based from Simply Optimized, but not many.

Butterium has been a passion project of many names over the past 2 years and it wouldn't be here without its amazing but small community.
