This is the module, formerly known as the Announcer within Socialismus, has now been rebranded as Chirper and is available as a standalone module.

To install these modules, simply place them in the modules directory located within the Socialismus folder in the plugins directory of your server. The supported platforms include VELOCITY, BUKKIT, PAPER, and FOLIA. Version support is provided across all versions supported by the plugin.

The documentation has been moved to the GitHub Wiki and will be completed before the official release. In the meantime, you can contact me for assistance via Discord or Telegram.

What's new:

  • Announcement Type: You can now select the type of announcement to be sent (BOSSBAR, TITLE, MESSAGE, SOUND, ACTIONBAR).
  • Announcer Delay: A delay can now be set, which will be used once when the announcer starts.
  • Simultaneous Announcements: Different types of announcements can now be sent simultaneously.
  • Full Rewrite: The entire module has been rewritten from scratch to improve structure, maintainability, and performance.
  • New Features: Utilizes new features provided by Socialismus, such as Requirements.

What changed:

  • Asynchronous Scheduling: All operations are now executed asynchronously, ensuring they do not affect the server’s performance.

If you encounter a bug or have a suggestion for the module, please use the Issues tab to report it.

This is a Release Candidate version, which means the module may contain bugs that could impact the production server, such as crashes, memory leaks or errors. Please exercise caution when using this pre-release. Testers are welcome!
