Armored Legacy is a resource pack that revamps vanilla armor, giving it a powerful new look with custom models and textures using EMF and ETF. It is compatible with animation resource packs and also features glowing armor trims that are compatible with shaders.

Version 1.1.0 Release

Now you can adjust or totally remove the visor by naming it on an anvil. Only applies to Diamond Helmet and Netherite Helmet. Needs Variants CIT installed to work properly.

Rename Diamond Helmet to Diamond Helm or Diamond Skullcap

Rename Netherite Helmet to Netherite Helm or Netherite Skullcap

⚙️ Compatibility & Usage

This pack works with versions 1.20 until the latest version. However, glowing trims requires versions 1.21.2 and above to work as intended.

EMF and ETF are required for this to work.

Resource packs that change all vanilla armor are NOT compatible. Mods with custom armors may require compatibility packs. If you'd like to create one, please open a thread in the GitHub Issues page.

Make sure this pack is placed above any other resource packs to avoid conflicts.
