Binding Enchantment

Binding is a custom enchantment added by this datapack that lets you keep specific items after death — no need to enable full keepInventory. When an item enchanted with Binding is in your inventory and you die, that item stays with you instead of dropping on the ground.

This makes it perfect for tools, weapons, or any valuable gear you never want to lose in lava or to mobs.
