This datapack turns the game into a co-op roguelike with 20 ascension levels. The core concept is that all players are linked, which is why the first ascension level links all player's health (while it is a "co-op roguelike", there is no upper or lower limit for the amount of players, which is to say that the datapack will still work in singleplayer).

The ascension level, as well as the game difficulty, can be changed using "Trigger" commands.

(/Trigger) Commands

/Trigger Ascension

This command will change the Ascension level according to your input

/Trigger Difficulty

This command will change the game Difficulty (Easy, Normal and Hard) according to your input. The default Difficulty is Easy.

/Trigger Location

(Cannot be used in singleplayer) This command will write the location of all other players in the chat (only you will be able to see the messages)

Notes

  • This datapack does not work on realms servers
  • The world has to be closed when adding the datapack. It will not work if you add it while the world is open and then use the /reload command
  • The datapack has a "settings" fodler where you can turn off command explanations and PvP
  • You cannot use beds and respawn anchors to cheese the dragon fight
  • Each run of an ascension has to be done in a seperate minecraft world. The datapack cannot reset the world for you
  • You win by completing the goal which is displayed whenever a new Ascension level is chosen
  • When you generate a world you will be locked in a 5x5 box, which you can only leave after choosing an ascension level. The ascension level and game diffuclty can be changed until a player receives a root advancement
  • You cannot obtain totems of undying
