Dev Note:
With v3.0 of Warping Wonders I overhauled many aspects of the codebase.
Those changes should go mainly unnoticed by players but will increase performance and code stability which makes the data pack more easily maintainable by me.
But if you happen to catch a bug, feel free to report it on our discord server (linked on the main page).
Changes:
Waypoint Hub:
- Waypoint Hub GUI is now utlizing Minecrafts new Dialogs instead of a Barrel Menu
- Waypoint Hub Menus now only show destinations a player can teleport to (public/own private ones)
- Default Tool to mine/break a Waypoint Hub is a Pickaxe
- Private Waypoints now display a Lock above the Waypoint Name
- Left/Right clicking the Icon of a Waypoint Hub (you placed) with a renamed Name Tag still changes the Waypoint's Name
- Left/Right clicking the Icon of a Waypoint Hub (you placed) with a Dye changes the text color
- Left/Right clicking the Icon of a Waypoint Hub (you placed) with a Waypoint Lock changes the accessibility of a waypoint (private/public)
- Left clicking the Icon of a Waypoint Hub (you placed) without a renamed Name Tag, Dye or Waypoint Lock cycles available Waypoint Icons
- Right clicking the Icon of a Waypoint Hub without a renamed Name Tag, Dye or Waypoint Lock now opens the new Menu
- Placing a Wool block below the Waypoint Hub disables the announcement for players teleporting to it
- Waypoint Hub Items max stack size is now 16
- Removed outdated lore of Waypoint Hub Items
- Rarity of Waypoint Hub Items is now common
- Adjusted size of Waypoint Hub blocks to be smaller (1x1x1 instead of 1.1x1.1x1.1)
Portal Horn:
- Changed Portal Horn sound
- Changed functionalities of Portal Horns:
- Portal Horns no longer open a portal other can teleport to by also using a Portal Horn
- Instead when using a Portal Horn, a Dialog opens where players can choose another player to send a teleport request
- The recipient of a TPA gets notified by a chat message which includes a prompt for them to accept the request
- Modified Portal Horn Item in order for it to function properly with the new functions:
- Old Horns no longer work for TPA
- New Horns can be given with
/loot give @s loot wawo:item/portal_horn
Misc:
- Added Waypoint Lock item (can be crafted with an Iron Ingot & Iron Nugget)
- Removed assets for old GUI Icons & Waypoint Hub Item Texture
- Compasses linked to a Lodestone now get their components removed when the Lodestone is being removed
- Linked Compasses, Recovery Compasses & Clocks now assign the data related to their features more properly
- Linked Compasses, Recovery Compasses & Clocks no longer change in rarity
Fixes:
- Waypoints can't be placed closer than 24 blocks, even when the settings allowed a smaller distance
- Configured player limit for placing Waypoint Hubs not increasing when placing one
- Configured player limit for placing Waypoint Hubs not decreasing when breaking one
- Compass teleport not giving an Action Bar message when player has not enough exp levels
Changes:
- right clicking the Waypoint Hub Icon to change it now also plays a sound
- added failsafe head texture for Waypoint Hubs in case a player doesn't have a valid profile when placing a Waypoint Hub
- Waypoints without a valid profile resource now get automatically updated with failsafe resources
Fixes:
- various broken particle resources for Waypoint Hubs

Changes:
- Moved Waypoint Hub storage location - Old Waypoints get tranferred automatically
- Teleporting sounds for Clocks & Recovery Compasses are now played when using the item instead of after using it
- Flipping a page in a Waypoint Hub GUI now plays a sound
- Changing Icons for Waypoints can now be done simply by right/left clicking the Icon floating above the Hub instead of using the GUI
- Waypoints can now be renamed by right/left clicking the Icon floating above the Hub with a renamed Name Tag
- Added several new Waypoint Hub Icons
- Waypoint access can now be set to public/private within the GUI menu (if set to private, only the owner can tp to it and see the coords in the GUI menu)
- Waypoints can now announce if someone teleported to them to other players that are within the reach of the destination Waypoint (Can be En-/Disabled per Waypoint in the GUI menu)
- Added admin configuration menu:
- Can be opened by using the command: /function warping_wonders
- Added options to en-/disable each feature (Waypoint Hubs & Portal Horns can still be crafted but won't work)
- Added options to configure EXP Level costs for each teleport action
- Added options to configure chance of the item breaking when using (except for Waypoint Hubs)
- Added options to en-/disable teleporting leashed mobs alongside players
- Added option to configure the min distance between Waypoint Hubs
- Added option to configure max limit of Waypoint Hubs a player can place (Does not apply to already placed Hubs)
- Added option to configure cooldown for Portal Horns
