Features

  • Added four types of Clockware: Head, Body, Arms, and Legs. The clockware for arms and legs is individual for each limb, giving the player six slots for unique clockware!
  • Added 15 unique clockware items, each one with special abilities! From simple enhancements that increase your strength to advanced clockware that lets you shoot projectiles from your wrist!
  • Each clockware implant has three levels: Prototype, made with Andesite Alloy; Refined, made with Copper Sheets; and Masterwork, made with Brass, each one stronger than the last!
  • Added a new Villager profession, the Ripperdoc! Buy new clockware from them and install it in your body with their help!

Clockware Details

Head

Optical Calibrator

  • Removes projectile innacuracy (Is more evident with eggs and snowballs)
  • At Refined level and above, makes you immune to darkness, blindness and nausea
  • At Masterwork level, invisible entities will render to you with a red layer instead of being invisible

Arachnid Optics

  • Increases the visibility at dark for each level, increases critical damage by 0.25 each level (vanilla crit is x1.5)

Biopurifier

  • Prevents any harmful effect applied to the player while eating, like hunger or poison
  • At Refined level and above, prevents harmful effects from drinkable potions and splash potions
  • At Masterwork level, prevents harmful effects from lingering potions, this includes the Dragon's Breath cloud!
 

Arms

Golem Arm

  • Applies extra strength, block breaking speed and submerged block breaking speed to the player, the intensity depends on if is equipped on the main-hand arm or off-hand arm
  • On Main-Hand Arm: +2, +3 and +4 strength, +0.65, +1.25, +1.75 block breaking speed, +0.15, +0.25, +0.40 submerged block breaking speed, respectivaly
  • On Off-Hand Arm: +1, +2, and +2 strength, +0.50, +0.65, +1.25 block breaking speed, +0.10, +0.20, +0.30 submerged block breaking speed, respectivaly

Reaper Blade

  • If equipped on main-hand, the player can summon a blade from their wrist, to summon it, while don't looking to a block hold left-click for more than half a second
  • If equipped on off-hand, it gives a little passive boost to attack speed
  • The hidden blade ignores armor
  • With a reaper blade equipped on each arm, hold right click and release to do a lunge that damages enemies, the intensity depends on the level of both reaper blades, it has a 3s cooldown
  • The blade is automatically stored if you don't have an empty hand

Feline Hand

  • Applies extra entity range, block reach, and attack speed, the intensity depends on if is equipped on the main-hand arm or off-hand arm
  • On Main-Hand Arm: +0.15, +0.20, and +0.50 entity range, +0.50, +1.00, and +1.50 block reach, +0.25, +0.75, and +1.25 attack speed, respectively
  • On Off-Hand Arm: +0.05, +0.10, and +0.25 entity range, +0.50, +1.00, and +1.50 block reach, +0.15, +0.50, and +0.75 attack speed, respectively

Projectile Launcher

  • Grants the ability to shoot projectiles!
  • In the inventory, the clockware can be reloaded similarly to a bundle.
  • While equipped, it can be reloaded by holding the ammo in the opposite hand from where it’s installed and holding right-click.
  • The clockware can be loaded with any projectile and functions similarly to a dispenser, it works especially well with rockets!
 

Body

Obsidian Core

  • Applies extra armor, armor toughness and knockback resistance but less speed
  • On Chest: +4, +6, and +8 armor, +1, +2, and +4 armor toughness, +0.10, +0.25, and +0.50 knockback resistance, −10%, −20%, and −30% movement speed, respectively

Clockwork Heart

 

  • Increases natural healing!
  • In vanilla, after the initial food-based healing, the player heals every 4 seconds. This Clockware decreases that interval by 1 second per level.
  • In vanilla, healing through food increases hunger by 6 exhaustion points by each healing point. This Clockware reduces that by 1 point per level.

Buoyancy Chamber

 

  • Reduces gravity, similar to Feather Falling, by 0.02 per level, up to a maximum of -0.05 (vanilla gravity is 0.08).
  • Reduces fall damage by an additional 30% per level.
  • Reduces sinking in fluids, at Masterwork level, you will never sink while in water!
  • Increases Elytra speed with each level.

Thermal Regulator

  • At Prototype level, reduces damage from freezing and fire by shortening the interval at which each damage instance occurs.
  • At Refined level, this reduction is increased, and lava damage is halved.
  • At Masterwork level, you become immune to fire and freezing damage, and take only 25% of lava damage.
 

Legs

Kinetic Actuator

 

  • Applies extra base speed at each level.
  • With two equipped, performing a double-tap triggers a straight dash, granting 15 ticks of invulnerability. The dash's intensity depends on the level of both legs, it has a 3-second cooldown.

Jet Ankle

 

  • Applies extra safe fall distance, jump and step height.
  • With two equipped, performing a double-tap triggers a double jump. The jump's intensity depends on the level of both legs, it has a 2-second cooldown.

Hydrothruster

 

  • Applies extra swimming speed.
  • With two equipped, performing a double-tap while on water triggers a whirlwind attack, like the riptide attack. The whirlwind's speed and damage depends on the level of both legs, it has a 2-second cooldown.

Shock Absorber

 

  • Applies extra gravity but reduces fall damage, 14% per leg, up to an 84% reduction at Masterwork level with both legs equipped.
  • With both equipped, fall damage is converted into a shockwave. The damage, knockback, and size of the shockwave depend on the levels of both legs and the amount of damage reduced from the player.

Installing Clockware

Installing Clockware on a player is as easy as visiting your nearest Ripperdoc Villager! Don't forget the money!

Compatibility

  • Clipping is completely inevitable since the variety of skins is infinite. If an arm, leg, or head implant clips with your skin’s outer layer, simply disable the affected parts in the vanilla Skin Customization options!
  • The Clockware rendering should work with any mod/resource pack that modifies the vanilla player model (like Fresh Moves), but not with mods that completely replace it (like Epic Fight).
