Adds a couple types of Doritos, each of which has unique effects and crafting recipes. This mod is quite unrefined, and thus these chips may be over-powered (I might update this to be more awesome later). JEI (or similar) is recommended.
For each of the four types you'll need a "seasoning" (to season the wheat). Each seasoning has a unique and progressively more complicated recipe, as listed below:
Original Salted Seasoning: (Overworld)
- Emerald
- Flower (any)
- Green Dye * 4 (or Lime Dye)
- Kelp
- Sugarcane
- Wheat seeds
Nacho Cheese Seasoning: (Nether)
- 1 Blaze Powder
- 1 Crimson Fungus
- 1 Ghast Tear
- 1 Gold Ingot
- 1 Magma Cream
- 4 Red Dye (or Orange Dye)
Spicy Sweet Chili Seasoning: (Nether)
- 4 Crying Obsidian
- 1 End Crystal
- 4 Purple Dye
Cool Ranch Seasoning: (End)
- 4 Blue Dye (or Light-Blue Dye)
- 1 Chorus Fruit
- 1 Diamond
- 1 Lapis Lalzuli
- 1 Phantom Membrane
- 1 Prismarine Shards
After you have a seasoning you can create the actual chips with 8 wheat and the seasoning of choice. Furthermore, party-size bags can be created by crafting 9 normal bags together. Also, 3-D chips can be crafted with 8 Cool Ranch bags and a Netherite Ingot. The stats for each are listed below:
Original Salted Doritos (Original Salted Doritos Party Size):
- Nutritional value: 8 (20)
- Saturation: 9 (25)
- Effect: 2.5 secs of Regeneration (5 secs of Regen II)
Nacho Cheese Doritos (Nacho Cheese Doritos Party Size):
- Nutritional value: 10 (25)
- Saturation: 12 (30)
- Effect: 30 secs of Fire Resistance (90 secs of Fire Res)
Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos (Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos Party Size):
- Nutritional value: 20 (40)
- Saturation: 4 (12)
- Effects:
- 5 minutes of haste (10 minutes haste II)
- 5 minutes of weakness (10 minutes weak II)
Spicy Sweet Chili 3D Doritos:
- Nutritional Value: 35
- Saturation: 90
- Effects:
- 15 minutes of haste III
- 15 minutes of weakness III
Cool Ranch Doritos (Cool Ranch Doritos Party Size):
- Nutritional value: 12 (30)
- Saturation: 15 (35)
- Effects:
- 30 secs of Speed (90 secs of Speed II)
- 30 secs of Jump Boost (90 secs of Jump II)
Cool Ranch 3D Doritos:
- Nutritional value: 90
- Saturation: 110
- Effects:
- 5 minutes Speed III
- 5 minutes Jump Boost III
- 5 minutes Dolphins Grace II
- 5 minutes Strength II
- 5 minutes Water Breathing
- 5 minutes Regeneration II
You can make colored Dorito Slabs by crafting chips together (same positioning as other slabs). You can only make 3 colors of slabs in survival for now, until I add more chip varieties.
