Enchanted: Wands & Tomes

Enchanted: Wands & Tomes

Mod

A mod that adds new, highly customizable magic-themed gear that uses Minecraft's enchanting system to determine its effects. Meant to incorporate a spellcaster playstyle for players in a vanilla-friendly, easy to master, and non-intrusive manner.

Fixed an issue that was causing a crash when another of my mods was installed.

-- Added a tooltip that displays wand projectile damage, including added enchantment damage. -- Corrected Ratlantis Recipes for Wand and Tome -- Changed Draco Arcanus Wand Recipe to use an Edelwood Branch instead of a stick -- More Compat Wands and Tomes (Alexs Caves, Roots) -- More Enchantment Compat (Apotheosis/Apothic Enchanting, Majrusz's Enchantments, Incantationem) -- Fixed antisynergy between the tome 'Blink Step' and 'Launch' effects. The two combined will now allow you to teleport in any direction you are looking, including straight up and down. The teleport tries to avoid stranding you past bedrock layers and out of bounds, so it may behave oddly when you are at lower levels in the world. -- Wand projectiles can now destroy End Crystals and activate target blocks

Wands and Tomes can now only recieve enchantments that will cause them to have an effect. This includes vanilla enchantments, as well as enchantments from several mods (a full list will be available on the wiki).

Added more wands and tomes using modded materials from the following mods:

Seeds (Sharp Leaf) Organics (Kuko, Venomite, Iridite, Endium) Allthemodium (Allthemodium, Vibranium, Unobtainium) Biome Makeover (Illunite) Mystical Agriculture (Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium, Supremium) Mythic Botany (Alfsteel) Blaze Gear (Brimsteel) Rats (Oratchalcum) Ice And Fire (Dragonbone, Dragonbone Fire/Ice/Lightning, Dragonsteel Fire/Ice/Lightning, Desert/Jungle Myrmex Chitin)
