This mod aims to add new ores, structures, mobs and machines to Minecraft. However right now this mod adds 3 new weapons/tools tiers.

Ores :

The Ruby Ore and the Amethyst Ore can be generated in the overworld between y = 0 / y = -50. The Topaz Ore on the other hand can be generated in the end between y = 0 and y = 60. Thanks to theses new ores you can creave a new set of tools/weapons better than diamond/netherite but not too overpowered (so that it can still respect vanilla minecraft guidelines).

To create these new weapons you'll need to craft the new upgrade trims and use them on a smithing table (so that netherite isn't just being left over). To see all the crafts, I'd recommend using NEI or JEI.
