For the love of updates is a mod that adds new things to the game with every new mod version, similar to Minecraft updates! (smaller additions to the mod will be snapshot releases) each "update" will revolve around a specific theme and will add or change new things such as

CURRENT UPDATE : Cozy Comforts
(images showcase the passive Red Panda mob that spawns in jungles, new blanket armor that stops you from freezing in powdered snow, chocolate; a basic food, hot cocoa that gives you regen and saturation, Cofee plant that spawns in almost all overworld biomes, coffe beans, cofee drink that gives you speed and haste, new lofi music discs from the minecraft official channel, Snowy camp structure that spawns with different foods blankets and beds, and walking stick that gives you speed and keeps your hunger bar at full while your holding it in your main hand)

Eviornmental Eden | Adds new particles, features, sounds/ambience, and mobs to add life to different biomes. Examples : mist and fireflies for swamp type biomes, lakes for old growth birch forests, wind ambiance for mountain biomes, birds in plains and forest biomes.

Fabulous Foliage (snapshot) | Adds new types of plants and also adds new particles that fall from certain plants and foliage. Examples : White dandelions, tropical flowers, grapevines and grapes, river reeds, leaf and branch particles falling from vines and leaves.

Otherworldly Overhaul | Adds new biomes and mobs to both the end and the nether, and also slightly changes the look of the ender dragon. Examples : The Riftlands end biome with shattered stars in the sky, the endworm that hunts enderman, HeatFelids nether biome with lava lakes, and the fire gecko that will eat small magma cubes.
