Overview

Lucid's Shield Optimizer is an optimization mod that optimizes the use of shields by resending the “use item” packet to the server within a short time window. This packet redundancy helps counteract packet loss or delay, which can cause the server to ignore or delay the original shield activation. By sending additional packets, the mod increases the likelihood that the server recognizes the shield raise in a timely manner.

Plans

Currently being reworked as the original method of just resend use packets does not work. It behaves like placebo, currently working on a solution that checks for shielding desyncs and correcting that. I am sorry for releasing a mod that did not really work this was my first coding project.
