My Hand Hurts is a small quality of life/parity mod that overlays the red damage flash on your first person hand whenever you take damage. It takes the overlay behavior EXACTLY from regular entities, and includes a feature from one of my older mods where your hand will disappear on the death screen when you poof away to other players. This all exactly mimics Bedrock Edition behavior.

This mods simple nature ensures that it has 0 performance impact, and compatible with other mods.

Usage

There's downloads for Fabric and NeoForge. Make sure you're downloading the correct version for your modloader. Fabric supports 1.21.8+, and NeoForge supports 1.21.8+

Place it in your mods folder and it'll run without any extra setup. The mod will work on any server.
