Artist's Statement: In spite of, or perhaps due to our time apart, the moon linked our wombs across the churning distance. Its tides ebbed and flowed as we did, them unconscious of it, me jealously wishing the same.

Artist's Statement: Going to the grocery store with my mother was an exercise in patience. I spent many hours on the display couches watching display DVDs on the display televisions. The couches remained on display long after they stopped selling them.

Artist's Statement: I overheard a story just before midnight at the airport: a man holding a stranger in rapt adulation. I couldn't help but smile at the punchline, savoring the strange guilt of eavesdropping on a public intimation. He didn't notice.
