Small fix thunder sounds to be more compatible
at first i used my own resource sounds to silence thunder, now it is handeld directly with a null return and if a mod changes thunder sounds its more comatible with this mod. Disable thunder sounds in the config if you so desire :D
-
This is a big one
- New Wood sounds, a new sound has been added for wood type blocks, overall even rainier.
- New sand sound, off by default. it sounds really bad, will be changed.
- I redid the folliage sounds to fit better.
- Added a pitch change when indoors, and tweaking of the overall random sound pitch.
- Improved way of checking for sound candidates, skipping air blocks, check only half per cycle, upped the values for some settings, mod will only be active when its raining, way less performance heavy, should help with general lag. Also played sounds will be cached for a loacation so no unnecesarry rescanning will be done.
- Smoother sound cycling so amethyst wont sound ugly.
- Confirguration options: toggle any sounds at will, Thunder, amethyst, wood etc.
- Removed the max and min sound interval and just sticked to one.
- A delay has been added before a block plays a sound for more realism.
- Way more simplefied checking for a sound candidate, if a block is exposed to a side or top to outside air it plays rain sound if not, then it wont. A special case for glass: Glass checks 2 block to the side for windows to work more naturally.
- Minecraft version 1.20, 1.20.1/.2/.4 in one file type.
- Debug logs have been added (usefull for me >:)).
- All packed neatly in a 6.01 mb .jar file (only 40kb more than 0.3).
