Tired of companions with less-than-ideal modifiers? Have a stockpile of useless relics? The Companion Workstation Mod adds a powerful new utility to your arsenal, allowing you to break down unwanted companion items and craft the perfect partner for your vault runs.
🌟 Features
Companion Recycler: A new table used to break down unwanted companions and companion-related items.
Recycle Companions: Insert a companion you no longer want. The Recycler will smelt it down, returning a Retired Companion (a decorative trophy item) and valuable Companion Essence.
Recycle Relics & Particles: The Recycler can also process Companion Relics and Particles, turning them into Companion Fragments.
Craft New Eggs: Use the Companion Essence at a Companion Workbench to craft new companion eggs, giving you another chance at the perfect roll!
Craft Relics & Particles: Use the Companion Fragments at the workbench to craft new Relics and Particles, creating a full recycling loop.
⚠️ Important Note: The recycling process is permanent. When you smelt a companion, it also processes any relics and particles equipped inside it. The companion is retired and can no longer be used in a vault, so choose wisely!
🛠️ Configuration
This mod is built with customization in mind!
All recipes for the Companion Workbench—including the cost of eggs, relics, and particles—are fully configurable through the mod's config files. Server owners and players can adjust the costs to best suit their playstyle and server economy.
📦 For Vault Hunters
This mod is designed specifically for the Vault Hunters (3rd edition) modpack. It requires Vault Hunters to be installed and is intended to integrate seamlessly with its companion system, providing a much-needed endgame sink for duplicate or poorly-rolled companions and their upgrades.
