Well you found it guys, the unofficial Minecraft 2. This is a relativley light modpack that improves upon pretty much everything from the base vanilla game without making it feel absurd. Here's what I mean by that:

Worldgen - Say goodbye to flat, repetitive terrain. With Terralith, Oh The Biomes You’ll Go, and Ohthetreesyoullgrow, the world now has towering peaks, deep river valleys, lush rainforests, volcanic deserts, and dense new forests. The terrain is taller and deeper, so you won’t feel like you're exploring on a flat sheet of paper. The Nether is now massive, vertical, and terrifying thanks to Incendium, and the End is hauntingly beautiful and intentionally empty with Nullscape and Better End Islands giving it scale and mystery.

Structures - Structures have been completely retbuilt. The YUNG's Better series (including Dungeons, Strongholds, Ocean Monuments, Witch Huts, Mineshafts, and more) replaces old structures with sprawling, handcrafted versions that actually make you want to explore. CTOV overhauls villages with biome-dependent architecture that makes every town feel handmade. Repurposed Structures and Structory inject the world with even more variety, without flooding it. You’ll stumble upon forts, towers, ruins, and remixed classics, all feeling like they were meant to be there.

Shaders - With Iris, you’ve got full shader support and beautiful lighting out of the box. BSL shaders are included and customizable down to the rays of the sun. Performance mods like Sodium, Indium, Entity Culling, ImmediatelyFast, and Dynamic FPS ensure that it all runs smoother than vanilla, even while looking miles better.

Food/Farming - Farming is finally worth your time. Farmer’s Delight, along with Ender’s Delight, Nether’s Delight, and Ocean’s Delight, adds tons of new crops, meals, tools, and decorations that slot seamlessly into the game. Smarter Farmers helps automate farming with villagers that don’t suck. There are no energy bars or overcomplicated systems, just new ingredients, recipes, and ways to live off the land.

Combat/Enchanting - Combat gets deeper without turning into a whole different genre. Mods like Zenith and Enchanting Infuser overhaul the enchanting system, giving you real choices and letting you push gear to the limit if you’re willing to earn it. Better combat allows you to swing, with speed, strength, smoothness, and intention depending on the weapon you choose. It makes sure that combat is an artstyle, not an annoyance.

Quality Of Life - Every little annoyance has been smoothed out. Lootr makes every dungeon chest personal—no more fighting over loot. Jade, Horse Expert, and Appleskin give you instant info on mobs, hunger, and blocks. Traveler’s Titles, and Better Tridents add flavor and function, while Cut Through, Crawl, and Sitting Plus improve the way you interact with the world. Inventory management is also smarter thanks to Easy Shulker Boxes, making item storage far less painful.

Performance - Under the hood, mods like FerriteCore, ModernFix, Lithium, C2ME, and MoreCulling keep your FPS high and your memory usage low, without bloating your modlist.

Multiplayer - No Chat Reports keeps your multiplayer sessions safe from global bans. ClientSort, Mod Menu, and BetterF3 give you clean, readable menus and organization tools. JourneyMap is included too, so you’ll never get lost again. Essential allows you to use emotes and even host servers in a few clicks without even leaving the main menu.

Building - Builders, you’re in luck. Stoneworks and More Slabs & Walls add just enough new blocks to let you express yourself without drowning in 1,000 options. Pro placer lets you place confidently and efficiently without sending you careening off the side of your half-built castle.

Warning: while this is a lighter modpack than most, it doesn't work miracles. Do not attempt to run this on your mom's old computer with 512 megabytes of ram. I get around 60 - 70 fps with shaders on high and 8 gigs of ram (6 year old pc), but your mileage may vary.
