- added accelerated rendering, should greatly increase performance especially when used alongside GraalVM.
- added simple mob buffs, all hostile mobs will have a 5-10% (based on local difficulty) to spawn with buffs.
- reworked early game:
- mining wood from trees (logs, stripped logs, and planks) with your hands will no longer drop any of the blocks. you have to collect sticks from leaves in order to progress.
- planks can now be made from 4 sticks. fear not, if you are unlucky with your leave-punching you can also obtain sticks by using 4 saplings!
- all wood tools are now pocket-sized! you no longer need a crafting table to make any of them, making them more convenient to use while taking significantly less material to craft.
- updated mob variants for better compatibility with the mechanics from imbleeding mod on the spider variants.
- updated lunar mod, blood moons and eclipses can no longer be slept through. white moon is disabled.
- updated inmis mod, the config works now (backpack buff).
- updated tectonic, lithosticthed, terrablender, fzzy config, farmer's delight, and fabric api.

- temporarily removed toffys hook mod due to incompatibility on server-side (will be added back when it's fixed).

- adjusted serverpack's run.bats for graalvm, included a non-graalvm version, and edited the readme.
New lunar events, more things to play with, and some optimization overhauls.
- replaced horde nights mod with lunar mod. there are now numerous lunar events that can happen rarely (lmk if the rates need to be configured).
- sleeping now regenerates 4 hearts instead of 3.
- removed colorful hearts mod. you're not going to stack too much health anyways.
- removed perfect parity mods to trim bloat; this modpack's focus isn't to backport later versions of minecraft content.
- removed fog mod to trim bloat, it's barely noticeable and literally useless with shaders on.
- removed complimentary in shaderpacks. noxus isn't suppose to look good.
- added an alternative, reworked version of rudimentary you can use that is less gritty/darker and focuses more on that ps1 look. for more info read the 'shader info'.txt in the shaderpacks folder.
- removed particle core to trim bloat, async particles does the same thing without causing an fps decrease in most cases.
- replaced all of sodium 0.5 and its mods and dependents with 0.6 and its counterparts. sodium 0.6 is now in use. if you encounter any rendering issues or performance decreases, you can find the 'sodium 0.5' as a stable alternative in the extra folder within the mods folder.

- bandages and splints are now shapeless recipes, no longer needing a crafting table.
- block-breaking-hardness-cutoff for mobs has been slightly adjusted, from 3.0 to 3.5. this allows them to break blocks such as wooden doors, endstone, non-deepslated ores, and deepslate itself. however, player-affected (cobbled, polished, etc.) deepslate is 3.5, still providing a valuable way of defense for bases.
- reinforced deepslate is now mineable, and can be obtained with a netherite pickaxe.
- mob spawners hardness have been increased to 25 (somewhere between an enderchest and ancient debris).
- mob farms are nerfed; spawners now having a limited amount of spawns (80) before going obsolete.
- blazes and wither skeletons are slightly nerfed, no longer emitting dangerous auras that applied to the player when near them.

- added an expensive recipe for netherite smithing template, you no longer have to only resort to finding it if you're rich enough.
- changed netherite smithing template dupe recipe to use gold blocks instead of diamonds. i felt like the material cost of diamond templates already made you use a plethora of diamonds for gear progression, so i wanted to shift the focus; netherite gear will be a bigger dependent on gold now!
- added more optimization mods: krypton, scalablelux, async, redirected, and sepals (sepals is only serversided and experimental, remove if it's causing problems).
