Advanced Item Stats
Resource PackAdds an unobtrusive way to view important statistics about items in the inventory.
| DESCRIPTION |
Pressing the shift key shows more detailed stats about items in the item icon, such as attack damage values or potion effects. This overlay will not affect the normal item without shift, and will not reveal details about another player's items or items on the ground. Modded items will not work properly.
Current features
- Firework rocket flight duration value
- Firework rocket explosion overlay (will only show whether it will explode, no details. Useful when using elytra to avoid using the wrong rocket.)
- Ominous bottle effect strength overlay
Planned features
- Item damage values
- Armor protection values
- Food hunger values + potion and special effects
- Button and pressure plate duration (would need to make a new model in blockbench to add 2D text to a 3D item)
- Glowing block light levels (same as above)
- Infested blocks
- Waxed copper blocks
- Sus sand/gravel
- Effects of potion ingredients in brewing
- Painting sizes in creative mode
- Important/exclusive enchantments such as breach vs. density, mending
- Flower dye color
| VERSIONS |
Currently supports Minecraft Java 1.21.5. Some other versions will likely work and be added, but none are tested and the primary goal currently is to add features.
| COMPATIBILITY |
Incompatible with any resource pack that modifies any files modified in assets/minecraft/items or any pack that uses the same custom filenames (more unlikely)
May look strange when the vanilla texture of a modified item is changed, due to the overlay not using the changed texture. For this reason, it is incompatible with many cosmetic packs.
