The Design Philosophy

No more twisty rails

Curved rails do not match the actual movement

In Minecraft, minecarts run 45 degrees straight on continuous curved rails. However, the vanilla texture produces a twisty pattern for the continuous curved rails. This pack fixed that by making the curved rails diagonal-perfect. Now the rails fit the motion of minecarts!

Reinforced ramp rails

The vanilla models of the ramp rails look fragile since they lack support. This pack fixed that by adding wooden frames under the ramp rails.

Redesigned vanilla rails

The powered rail is crafted from gold instead of iron, so the rail has a pure gold texture.
The activator rail, when powered, will make the minecart wobble, so the model matches that by having two bumps on the rail.

With LabPBR-supported shaders, the rails look more realistic.

Readable controller rails

Controller rails are installed with dynamic LED displays! The speed settings of the rails are more readable. Moreover, the aesthetic of the segment displays fits Immersive Redstone Display. Please check it out!

"Disconnected" rails under a cart assembler

Since the rail installed with a cart assembler does not receive power from connected rails, even if they have the same type, the redstone power line in the middle of the rail track does not connect to the power line of the contiguous rail track.
