This mod now has a discord server!

New things:

  • Your world can now randomly generate an empty chunk
  • 3 new entities
  • 1 new config option
  • 1 new /testspace subcommand
  • 3 new darkness structures
  • 1 new music disc

Changes:

  • New panorama
  • Items that may destroy your world to shreds were added to OP creative tab in case you hate your world and/or your pc
  • Remade Regret's and Corrupted's animations
  • Blueprint structure is now much rarer
  • Combined (almost) every command into /testspace (and they all now require permission level 3)
  • /ts_config has been changed to /testspace_config
  • Added a warning in the /testspace_config command for people with Configured installed
  • /testspace_config command now tells how to change the world's config manually
  • Changed Regret's texture a bit so that he doesn't look like null with a knife
  • Updated Regret's sounds
  • Resorted spawn eggs to corrupted > glitches > failed experiments
  • Node now disintegrates when you look at him
  • Removed "Run" advancement due to Flatline not being THAT dangerous
  • Removed "Just don't be sad lmao" advancement
  • Revamped how you get the glitched log file so that it's not entirely luck based
  • Hexadecimal dimension now wears a shader
  • Terminal structure is now a bit rarer and is no longer limited to badlands/deserts only

Fixes:

  • (hopefully) Optimized how Darkness blocks and Bad Hex tiles spread
  • Changed how the mod detects if you're looking at terminal and/or hex terminal to fix the respective advancements not unlocking

Changes:

  • Node is now a bit more common
  • Node now doesn't spawn in groups

Fixes:

  • Fixed Node crashing your game when you're too far (props to Alexander.25.k for finding it)

Terminals now require a log file to progress

Common config has been moved to Server config so you'll have to reconfigure everything

  • unnamed blueprint 56 block (protects area in cubic radius of 25 blocks from darkness spreading in the overworld on sun phase 20)

Changes:

  • missing_entity's spawn rates once again to be more rare god i hate it
  • Blueprint is no longer just an annoying threat and drops an actual loot
  • If there's rain, it will stop when someone starts the Glitch Sequence
  • You can no longer sleep when an extreme sun event starts
  • Some entities can now bridge on water
  • Signal and Glitch Particle are now immune to liquid void
  • Flatline's spawn rates were lowered
  • Blueprint's stucture thingie is now much rarer

Fixes:

  • Rain will no longer happen in Darkness and Hexadecimal
  • Optimized unnamed blueprint xx textures so that there wouldn't be any repeating sides and to reduce the image size
  • Changed the sun phase time trigger from 18000 to 22000 to avoid playing dozen of extreme sun event sounds
  • Also fixed the extreme sun event sound not playing when changed naturally without sleeping or commands
  • Entities will now float in liquids instead of sinking to the bottom like a sack of bricks

  • Glitch Particle's damage area was reduced from 8 to 6 blocks
  • Glitch Particle's bounding box has been increased
  • Glitch Particle now uses missing texture particles on death instead of Regret's
  • Removed 2 debug commands
  • Removed night skybox

Fixes:

  • The Glitch Sequence now teleports everyone instead of only the one who started it
  • New players will now spawn in The Darkness if The Glitch Sequence already happened (hopefully)
  • Ended the loop of Darkness's spawn position sometimes getting inside a mountain or above the void lake
  • Fixed the generation of Hexadecimal
  • Overcharge's structure now doesn't have a chance to generate right next to the player on world creation
  • Darkness Planks now have their proper #minecraft:planks registry tag and can be used like other planks in crafting
  • Shaders and tbs compatibility at the cost of going back to "addition" blending and removing most of the effects (like the skybox, skyglare effect etc.)
  • Administration now bans you off of your world instead of forcefully crashing your games
  • Darkness wood can now be used as fuel in furnaces
  • Darkness saplings and leaves can now be composted
  • Darkness block can now be used for crafting stone tools
  • Darkness logs can now be smelted to charcoal
  • Glitch Particle's center particles

  • Removed destroyed lab structures from appearing in The Darkness due to them spawning too frequently and sometimes overlapping
